I'm wondering why these women don't go to the authorities. If he really is a sexual predator and the environment working with him is one of harassment it does no good for the producers to simply fire the culprit and foist him on others. I'm dissapointed to learn that the television community does not take these allegations seriously and that the women harmed don't have concerns about other women who may encounter the same problem. This has changed my view of the daytime work environment. Apparently, the press releases about charity functions and the family atmosphere at these shows isn't true. Between EB's diatribe on the fact that the actors aren't friends and now this, it seems as if daytime may be a hostile place to work.

I suppose so. I'd have much preferred it come out in a straight forward manner if the allegations are true. When this sort of thing just leaks with no authority it looks bad for everyone.
