When I first started watching Y & R was a little before Nick & Phyllis got together as a couple!!

It started when Nick was chasing after Daniel for killing Cassie, Phyllis & Neil were also there reason Daniel & Lily were together!!

Never ever heard of Joshua Morrow/Nick until then, he was on the show but he was also a nobody, wasn't popular at all only with the freakin' HO fans (if they even liked him) who knows!!

What I am trying to get at is that Joshua Morrow ~ was not a bit popular, could not act worth darn, was boring as the ens, and was not a bit good looking more like he was holding up Sharon Case...

Because she is incapable of holding herself up to this day!!

LML, put Michelle Stafford with Joshua Morrow ~ JM/Nick became famous!!

JM actually learned to act when working with MS ~ she was a great teacher for him and they made the most explosive couple on any soap!!

I do believe that Phyllis/MS helped JM become the actor he is now ~ MS, taught JM how to grow!!

She gave him strength to act better, perform his acting skills better and to grow up!!

All of the lesson that JM got are all lost by putting him back together with Sharon Case, she is the worst actresses I have ever seen....

Rather Nick completely alone than see his with Sharon again....

Young & Restless has been ruined!!

And the best, most favorite couple of mine and a lot of other viewers have been ruined all do to a Bell that didn't know what she was doing and to a BITCH that she doesn't seem to give a damn about fans or anyone else!!

As long as she gets a paycheck for what "dribble" garbage, trash or what every you want to call it!!

You all will never have another Michelle Stafford or Joshua Morrow couple again!!

NO one can replace what they did in the seven years or so that I watched them!!

Y'all (meaning all the writers in the past 7 yrs., Sony/CBS) should be ashamed!!

You will loose viewers now that JM is no longer going to be a good actor!!

Its over with, hope you all are happy, in your decisions to put he and SC back together for her fans, you all don't seem to care about anyone else but your money lined pockets!!

Disgusted!!

I'm disgusted too, WV. The writing is terrible but I don't think Nick has changed much. He was really very much the same with Phyllis as he was with Sharon the 10 years prior. I don't blame JM or his acting ability. I blame the writers who have scripted Nick. I don't blame SC either. Sharon Newman is not Sharon Case. SC just plays what she's given as does JM as did MS who was playing a character written to be very ugly before you began watching. It wasn't Nick who made the Phyllis character fun and sexy, it was Jack. He redeemed her. Prior to their relationship and marriage she was disliked by almost all in GC other than Micheal. These characters have gone through amazing changes over the years but the core of who they are has oddly remained rather true. Nick is and was with Phyllis pretty much the same Nick he always was.

Nick IMO has always been monotoned. Its like the writers don't know what to do with him. I think Sharon Case has done a good job dealing with what she has. Nicks always been some womans prop. That seems to be his purpose in life.

You're right, stluee. Nick always has been somewhat monotone. I have to wonder if the Bells didn't choose to have opposites in the families. Nick is as bland and predictable as Victor is outrageous and capable of anything. On the other hand, Vickie was and still can be ruthless and is much different than her addictive, victim mother. Same for the Abbotts. While John was predominately a just and good person, Jack has never had problems coloring outside of the lines and breaking the rules along with hearts. Traci, on the other hand, had a warmth and caring that Dina never did.

I have only seen him on this soap. Imo he sucked the life out of both Sharon and Phyllis. I don't find him attractive. He is a character I would not miss.

Sharon hasnt been with a man for a very long time. Sharon is doing great with the stories they are giving her. There is no rhyne or reason to her plight. Im bi-polar, none of this is my fault. Now Im strong, then the darn writers make her weak again. wth Victor is using a look alike to scare Sharon and interfer with the recovery process. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to keep seeing a ghost of my deceased child.
