The Maddocks, are a blue color family they live in a mobile home. On the outside, this house looks impoverish, the inside is full of love. For now....

Rose Maddock is an unkempt housewife. She is a bartender on the weekends. Her husband Dan Maddock is a mechanic. He works construction and is also a great mechanic. He works odd jobs anything to support his family. He has two boys. Keith and Jeff. One girl with red hair. Her name is Ruby she is 12. the boys are 10 and age 9.

Alison Jenner has her eye on Dan. She's seen Rose and thinks Dan could do better...a lot better if he had the right woman. Allison works the night shift at the Gas And Go and sees Dan and his co-workers most mornings buying breakfast food before they head off to the construction site. She's been wearing some very tight T-shirts but so far Dan hasn't noticed. Her long blond hair is piled on top of her head, her lips are red and her eyes are outlined like a cat's and Dan's buddy, Joe Eppers, has noticed but she's not looking in his direction.

Dan thinks Alison looks like a ho. Not his type at all.He wishes Joe wouldn't look at her. Dan has a feeling Alison is nothing but trouble. Joe needs a more down to-earth woman.
Joe wishes everyone would mind their own business. He thinks hes old enough to decide on what kind of woman he wants(22)

Joe's mother agrees with Dan. But Joe has his own way of thinking. He's seen the way Alison looks at Dan and he's seen the way Rose looks at her customers and he wants Rose to look at Dan that way more often to make certain Dan never looks at Alison the way she looks at him because Joe wants Alison for himself. Alison clearly has other ideas.
Rose and Dan have a comfortable life and their hands full with the kids but sometimes Rose wants more. She watches TV and dreams of what it must be like to have someone cook and clean for her, to go to work all dressed up in heels and a suit, to have her hair and nails done by a professional. Dan only sees the girl he married. He really doesn't notice her nails. He just sees the hands that serve him dinner...and he loves them.

People look at Rose and see a woman who is confident and a good mother. She could keep herself up better.Her dishwater blonde hair needs to be tamed. Weight wise she is just right for her 5'5 frame.Her breast is a 34cup. Seldom does she dress up. Depression is settling in. Something needs to be done before she gets unholy thoughts in h er head.

It was a mild and sunny day when Rose awoke to get the kids ready. Dan was already up, washed and ready to head out the door. Rose kissed him goodbye then sat on the edge of the bed for a long time. She just stared at her feet until Ruby came in complaining that Jeff wouldn't let her in the bathroom. Jeff was wailing at the top of his lungs that Ruby tried to pull him off the toilet before he was done. Rose burst out laughing at this but the tears of laughter slowly turned to just tears. The kids didn't see...but Rose knew she was having trouble keeping it together.
At the same time a car pulled up to the Capri Hotel on the highway just outside of town. A man got out and locked the door. He wasn't the sort one would see in town a lot. His shirt was pressed with starch and the wool of his suit was finer than most of the town women's cashmere sweaters. His tie was a silk so rich it looked wet and his watch was a shiny gold as was his wedding band...which he pulled off and put in his pocket before checking in.

Rose keeped her nails nice,not the rest of her appearance. Why? Because her mama always said, a man can tell al lady by the look and feel of her hands. Rose decided to take some of her baked goods to sell at the restraunt that is at that hotel.So she got herself all dolled up!
I am cracking up at the gas and go pattay!

Rose liked the feeling of being dressed in her finest and having her nails perfect and her hair just so. She didn't immediately notice the stranger but he noticed her. And he stared for a long time before pulling out a photo from his pocket. Before he could get it back in Alison slid by him coyly looking over her shoulder. She was impressed.
Dan was about ready to call it quits for the day when he realized he had a flat tire. He knew it was losing air and meant to get to it a few days earlier but life got in the way. He opened the trunk to get the spare and felt someone watching. He moved quickly wanting to get out of that parking lot as soon as he could.

Alison'just a sec" said the man. His name is Drake Cotter a self made millionaire. He got out of the car to help Rose with the baked goods. He owned the hotel!

Alison waited as requested. She had wanted to work for the hotel for a long time now and hoped she may get a chance if she could impress Drake Cotter. Of course she could have simply applied when there were openings but Alison wanted a special job. She wanted to work in Cotter's office. She noticed the picture he was staring at and she noticed his attention to Rose and she wanted to know what was in that picture. Alison just could never leave anything alone.

Rose decided to enter the hotel in the back where the kitchen was. She brought her desert samples to. She felt a tap on her shoulder.A voice saying" here, let me help you with that!"

Dan drove out of the parking lot and checked the rear-view mirror. He wasn't the sort to believe in ghosts or even expect trouble. Dan was a practical man but he couldn't shake the feeling of being watched...and he didn't like it. Dan had seed a lot of rough types come and go in the construction business and had been involved in his own fist to cuffs from time to time in his younger years. He was hoping to avoid trouble. He no longer had a taste for it.

Rose was horribly embarrassed and bent down to pick up the food and as she did Drake did too. Their hands touching as they both reached for what was once a delicious cheesecake.
Joe had left the construction site shortly before Dan and decided to stop at the Capri for a drink because work ended early. He was still dressed in his construction clothes but he didn't mind. He thought he looked rather manly in his jeans, which did fit him very well, and his plaid shirt with the sleeves rolled up and his steel tipped shoes. His hair was a little spiky after being in the hard hat all day and it gave him a very pleasing little boy look. He spotted Alison and thought to himself, "today might be my lucky day."
