Would love to meet Eric Braeden ~ seems to be as I said a kind, warm, very intelligent person!!
Bet he would fun to be around!!
Seems like he is getting sick of the writers & Phelps too!!
Doesn't EB/Victor get sick and tired of being made out to be the mean old man, that his kids, grand-kids don't like or want anything to do with him??
Nikki & Victor have been married numerous times, seems he would be getting sick of that too!!
Like to watch EB on the TALK ~ kinda funny and always as a wink or twinkle in his eyes!!
Sure glad that Eric Braeden came over here from Germany ~ he has made a lot of our days happy!!
Do love him ~ but also get super mad at him when he is Victor Newman!!

I haven't seen much of EB other than his playing Victor on Y&R. I do remember the big fiasco when he couldn't come to a salary deal a number of years ago. I couldn't make the link work for this interview but I have to agree, WV. If I were EB I'd get bored of being Victor too.

EB could have stayed in Germany. I do no think he is a great actor, not even sure a good one. He does have many fans with the soap, but outside of that, I would say he is not known very well. I read part of the interview on another part. EB seems like he might be a bit like Victor imo. I remember his salary hold out. I was so excited at the thought of no more Victor, should have known it was too good to be true. The only thing I have seen him in other than Y&R was the Titanic movie. He had a very tiny part, mostly I he nodded and smiled, said a line or two. I am only interested in the characters. The character of Victor is despicable annoying, boring and vile. I have never enjoyed the character. Sometimes he has been easier to tolerate, but I could easily do without him. |

I remember that interview alkina mentioned. EB came across as being an arrogent s.ob.
I have seen him on several probgrams in the 60 an d 70's. Other than that just Y&R
He is hard to understand at times. Mumbles alot. Perhaps he can do something about Phelps. She is worse than Bell. Phelps makes me miss Lynn Latham

Well, imo she is doing a good job, and imo the show was dying bit by bit as it was, she is just speeding things up to super fast death. I do wish before it dies, we could see Victor get his due. I wish he would be faced with the harsh reality of all the destructive harm and damage he has inflicted over his 34 years. IMO, even without his devious deceitful manipulations his manner of speaking, his mumbling, his lack of eye contact and the way he dismisses people as if they are nothing but a pile of trash is annoying and boring.

I wish it would explode from all the toxic hate inside Victor Newman. His death would not be sad or tragic to me. His family would cry and carry on like crazy as they have in the past when they thought he was dead. I would not want him to return as a ghost.
