Well, this is getting interesting. Loved Nick's reaction to Victor. Loved Sharon's reaction to Cassie 2. But what I REALLY love is that Victor's machinations have caused an unnecessary memory loss for Sharon that may bury the secret so far down when it does come out it will mean little. Serves him right to have his deception backfire.

It does, but I think Sharon will remember. Unlike most other characters who do manipulations for their own selfish reasons and do their very best to keep them secret, she feels guilt. I don't think Phyllis ever felt one speck of guilt for what she did to Danny, Christine, Daniel, Brian Williams, Dr. Reid, Sasha, Peter, Paul or anyone connected to her long on going extremely deceptive manipulations to make Danny her baby's daddy. Danny never ever had sex with her. She just drugged him to make it appear so. The only thing Phyllis seemed sorry for that in the end it cost her Daniel living with her. However, she still always blamed Danny and Chris for that. She never told Daniel the truth. All the bad stuff she did back then was way over the top and she was never accountable, honest or remorseful. I think Victor is going to get some dirty looks and some mad words, but in the end it will be forgotten. Not sure about what Nick will think when it is revealed that Sharon changed a name in a letter. Not sure if that is what really happened. But I would think he would have to think about what he did 20 years ago. I would think he would think had he only been faithful, had he only had the test redone none of this would be going on today. Victor himself had Kay lied about the blood test results when Victoria was born. Victor wanted Kevin Brancroft listed as the father. He ruined Kevin's life as well as fiancée and his parents with Victor's lies about paternity. When you come down to it very few in GC have been honest about paternity. They are all pretty much guilty.

They will get over it.Especially if its found out Sharon had another child. They will thank Victor. If Nick didnt want nothing to do with his dad, why dont he go buy his own land? As for Victoria I dont think she will care one way or another about what happened being she doesn't like Sharon

I don't think Vickie cares about anyone but herself, LOL. Victor will likely get through this without any lasting consequences, he always does, but I don't think the secret will come out quickly. I think Victor has indeed created a situation wherein the only one who knows can't remember.
Now I think she will remember because this is a soap, LOL and because Sharon will want to remember. It will bother her and I believe she will have unconscious feelings of guilt that will work on her conscious mind...or Phyllis could have a miracle recovery with her memory fully in tact and come home to get back at Sharon only to find out that Jack has moved on. All of which could make for some meaty storyline considering there is Cassie 2 on the scene who is already sympathetic to Sharon...and a character with secrets of her own.

Is it my imagination or did Victor insinuate Phyllis is Mariahs mother? Or, he knows who her mother is?

Oh, dear. I ff Victor a lot so I didn't hear what he said though why the writers would tie her to Phyllis with Summer already being a contested paternity case is beyond me. I can't believe Cassie 2 is Mariah. What a waste. I thought Cassie 2 would end up being more complex than a jealous woman.
