Bryan Dattilo ( Lucas Roberts) is rumored strongly to be let go by end of summer's storyline. There is a BIg support for EJ/Sami fans to go with this couple direction. They started a petition to save the actor's job. 6/8 you will see the beginning of this. Stephano tells Sami he will end the Vendetta if she marries his son-Elvis. Throughout the summer we will see her feelings towards Ej weaken. He will prove to her time and time again how much he loves her and their baby. First of all he will be shot. She will be extremely distraught over this. Lucas questioning her feelings. Ej will then find out about a shocking discovery about his own paternity that sends him emotionally reeling and over the edge. Sami without hesitation goes after him. He surprisingly tells Sami he doesn't want her pitty all he ever wanted was her love. Sami does something instinctly without even holding back. I sincerely hope they do move Sami into an Ej pairing. The complexity of that relationship would have years of storylines blossoming from it. I rooted for her and Lucas back in the day. But the way they've written them this time around is too shmoopy and one sided. Sami is a multi faceted character and I don't like seeing that sort of versatility smothered by trying to make her Marlena Jr. Alisson Sweeny has worked her tookus off making Sami an incredibly unique and complex character over the years. Forcing storyline after storyline where she has to make amends and beg forgiveness from Lucas and Will made me quit watching the show several times.

I loved the EJ/Sami potential when EJ first showed up. I was outraged when he raped her. Now, I'm torn. I am a longtime Sami/Lucas fan, but the writers have all but ruined Lucas for me. I see the potential of a Sami/EJ pairing still. I am weakening towards this pair, I hate to admit.

Yes they do. Their chemistry is awesome. I would love nothing more than for Sami to fall for EJ. The guy is a rapist and a liar. What gal wouldn't want those great qualities in a guy?  |

As I have said before,in real life, an ass like EJ would be found in a dumpster with a couple broken legs, and his pretty tie stuffed down his throat. That would take that smug looking smirk off of his face.
