I was upset that Ridge fired Ollie too. Thank goodness for Eric! I thought for sure Eric was going to tell both Ridge and Rick that it was time for Thorne to be president. Especially since he knows that Aly may run into trouble. And then I thought with all the talk about getting ahead because one is a Forrester Aly would begin thinking that because her dad was the company president she could do whatever she wanted...and act on it!

Ridge is just way out of line. I have no idea what his agenda is, but hurting Brooke is certainly part of it!
Loved the subtle nods to Ridge's Marroni background. While he IS Stephanie's son, he is NOT Eric's son. I haven't forgotten that, LOL!
I also thought Thorne might appear as President. I think it's a natural move with Aly going off the rails. But this maneuver will put Ridge and Brooke in a close setting, and I expect Bill to be there to rescue her!

OK, I'm beginning to rethink things. Ridge was in Paris when Stephanie died and Eric got the lion's share of her holdings...to the detriment of Ridge's son, Thomas. Brooke got the personal memento, the last moments and was handed the mantel as the Forrester matriarch. Then Rick became president. Then Steffy left her life behind while Hope took over. Then Taylor, the mother of his children, was unceremoniously moved to Paris after a very public family melt down to be with her children...all three licking the wounds inflicted by Logan gains.
Perhaps Ridge didn't come back for Brooke at all. Perhaps he is no more enamored of her now than he was when he walked out of the marriage. Perhaps what he wants is Forrester Creations...and revenge for losing his mother's legacy...and to hurt all who gained from it.
Perhaps Katie is just collateral damage. Maybe he intended to marry Brooke, get back in her good graces and slowly chip away at Rick and Hope's stranglehold on Forrester but took Katie along for the ride for good measure. Then Katie screwed up the wedding and Ridge decided to use her feelings to his advantage and take a firmer approach expecting Eric to capitulate...which he has without even realizing it by offering Ridge the CEO position for a price he was willing to pay all along.
Let's hope Bill rides in on that white horse wearing the white hat with the pearl handled pistol at his side to keep this train wreck from happening.

WOW, that is quite the idea Pattay !!!! Makes sense, looked like Ridge was drooling over Eric's offer to gice CEO to Ridge if he drops Katie and gets back with Brooke. Can't wait for Monday now, what will Ridge do. Would he really do that to Katie ?

Yes, I think Ridge would. He has a history of doing it to both Brooke and Taylor for years. He's walked out so many times I'm surprised there isn't a road between their homes, LOL.

Sorry, Ridge. The only people that should be picking up a child are his legal parents. Katie should have called if she was sending someone else. Ridge and Katie need to be knocked down a peg. It's time. Brooke and Bill need to be on top because it won't last long. Quinn is standing in the shadows!
