Week of 4/28/14 Spoilers

So how will cassie be tied to Ian? some have suggested Grace found the wrong child. Others have said perhaps the baby was switched at birth for some reason. I just read on a board that Cassie is Mariah. Sort of seems strange to think of Abby to be involved with a man that someone Cassie's age would have been involved with. Cassie or her look alike would have to be quite a bit older than Abby. But then the writers are always adjusting age to work with the current story line.  I don't see how Victor can come out of this ok, but I know he will.  No matter how much damage he inflicts, even death, he comes out ok.  I know he thinks he is justified because he wants to know Sharon's secret, but he was using Cassie look alike before they knew a secret was there.  I thought she was the one that told Victor there was a secret.  Victor has used gas lighting several times.  Sometimes, it was funny.  Like when he came back from supposedly being dead after Eve poisoned him.  The other time was when he was helping Nikki with her death, after he found out she was in remission and pretending to be dying.  He even had a coffin brought to the ranch.  LOL  But what he has done to Sharon and the memory of Cassie is criminal and just plain sick.  How very cruel and dangerous for someone that is suffering from mental illness as well as the loss of a child.  Victor just makes me so sad and so annoyed.  There is not one thing I enjoy or even like about this character.  He is the most disrespectful selfish despicable sob ever.  He wants to blame Sharon for burning down the ranch while having a mental breakdown.  What was his excuse when he torched Skye's home in Hawaii?  Oh, yeah he was trying to cover up his crime of fraud concerning Skye being alive.  If you took to writing the things Sharon did to help Victor and put them against her acts that were harmful to him.  They are not evenly matched.  The harm list is short, mostly the ranch and then when she finally saw what a vile mean manipulative creep he was she did some things with Tucker to hurt his company.  Well, Victor imo payback was well deserved and long over due.  The one thing I always disliked about the character of Sharon was how she always supported the nasty hypocrite and was always loyal.  She defended him when nobody would .

There were spumors that Dylan and Sharon were brother and sister with dad Ian in common but I'm thinking Cassie 2 is Ian's daughter and Dylan's sister which pulls in Sharon but doesn't link her biologically.  A Cassie double as Mariah makes no sense to me at all.  None.  And with the game playing that has been done with the kid's ages this younger Cassie should be older than Abby!

I like this storyline because I have no idea where it is going.  I like Sharon and Cassie 2 together and I like that Sharon WANTS to find out this secret.  In true Sharon fashion she isn't thinking at all that the secret may be protecting her, she's thinking it may need to be known to help others.  I'm wondering if Cassie 2 will find out first and protect Sharon. 

But what I like the most is that Sharon doesn't remember because of Victor's actions and he is the one who wants to know the secret more than anyone.  He's ruined his own chances along with subjecting a mentally stable woman to ECT.  Victor should be taken out in a row boat during a storm and left to die.

Why should it shock us?  They have been writing story lines that make no sense for years now.  Especially ones with the history of the soap.  In my crazy mind, which goes with the history, Cassie had she lived would be way older than Abby and Tyler.  Summer who was not even a consideration when Cassie died is now 20.  Cassie was around 14, maybe 15 when she died, so she would be mid 30s.  It does give her a reason for being in GC other than to be used an manipulated by the devious Victor.  Sometimes, I think the writers just go in after a few drinks and let their imagination fly with whatever fancies them that day.  I have stopped long ago to expect any of the story lines to  make   sense or have that feeling of being woven together for a great conclusion.  I am interested in the connection to Ian, not expecting it to make any sense.  It makes no sense to me that they decided to have Nikki pregnant from her time at the commune.  And that they have made her out to be an innocent teen.  LOL.  Wow, hard to believe.  She was all about the sex, her Paul shared STDs.  She had already been married, was actually still married while at the commune.  On her return she divorce Greg or he her, and she was back on track for a career in the entertainment business at the Bayou under the influence of Cash.  But who knows maybe this time it will work.  I like having Ian around.  I hope he gives the nasty despsicable Victor lots of grief.  I so liked Nikki saying Victor was like Ian.  I actually think Victor is far worse than Ian could ever be.  But it was very funny imo.

Oh, I'd love to see Victor get his comeuppance from Ian then find out that Dylan is really Paul's son!
