Victor goes to see Dr. Burnett in Georgia to talk to him about Phyllis's condition. He explains there has been no change despite a few brain wave activity when she hears music. Victor explains to him about a treatment based on the works of Dr. Cutler. He wants to try the treatment on Phyllis. Dr. Burnett is hesitant because it is a new procedure, hardly tested, and unpredictable. He tells Victor that even if Phyllis were to wake up they do not know the long term side effects and that her personality could be different aka she will not be the same person she was before the coma. Victor is willing to take that chance and asks him to get into contact with Dr. Cutler and put Phyllis on the list. He refuses to do it before talking to her family. Victor tells him that he will be the point person and explains he does not want to get her family's hopes. up.
The doctor is stern in his decision until Victor offers him a big fat check to go toward his practice. Victor is smart enough to do it in a way that he protects himself but is large enough to make it hard for the doctor to refuse. Victor goes into Phyllis room and tells her that she will be home very soon. He wants answers to the secret Sharon is carrying and knows Phyllis is the only one who can give them to him. He doesn't want to hurt his grandchildren but he wants to protect Nick. Victor feels that now that he is the controlling her treatment, he can monitor Phyllis so if she does wake up he will be the first person who questions her. He is determined to get the truth no matter what.

Oh, dear Lord. Who is going to be the victim of collateral damage in this plot? Maybe Victor himself if Phyllis doesn't remember the secret and comes back changed...thinking she and Sharon are BFFs!

Yes. They can come up with the idea but I don't turn it into a story! With dialogue!
